THE NINETY is a collection of poems that seeks to delineate, with an evocative style and great sensitivity, the childhood and feelings of its author, Edgar Smith (Amazon #1 seller with his book Through this strange window) making a kind of biography in free verse. Smith dedicates the collection of poems to that house that saw him grow up, to his grandfather, who was always his north, and to his mother, his great love. He mentions the games of his childhood, the ones he played and the ones he would have liked to play, the boys who grew up with him, and, it should be noted, the objects in that house are perhaps the protagonists.
This is a collection of poems that moves some fiber. A book to review once in a while and return to your own childhood.
