Throughout his life, Jackson Pichardo has been in love with the written word and an understanding of the values and ideologies that make up societies that manage to overcome themselves. For this reason, NUMEN QUE RELAMPAGUEA is a mixture, a hybrid, if you will, between poetry and reflection, which does work. Others have tried to harmonize these two aspects and not all have achieved the results that Jackson has. I think it is, in itself, another mix: literary sensitivity and human and social awareness, which have made a book like this possible. It is a hit.
